The Education Authority Open Enrolment process starts on Thursday 7th January 2021 for all families wishing to enrol their child in either a Nursery/Pre School or a Year 1 class for the following September. The Education Authority's on-line portal for admissions closes at 12.00 noon on Friday 29th January 2021. An application will be treated as 'punctual' if received on or before this date. Anything received after is regarded as a 'late application'. It is important that applications are made on time. Should parents be unable to complete the on-line application or require help, we would ask that they contact the school.

We have created this guidance section to help parents navigate the application process and provide an insight into what Mill Strand Integrated School & Nursery has to offer. We have separated the guidance into two distinct sections, one for Nursery and one for Year 1 to avoid any confusion.
Please note that parents MUST apply for a Year 1 place, even if their child attends our Nursery as pre school and primary education are seen as distinct, separate entities.
Parents MUST enter Mill Strand Integrated Nursery (Full-time) as 'first choice' and Mill Strand Integrated Nursery (Part-time) as the second choice to be considered for the 52 pre school places at the school.
